On the dancefloor.... The Sharp Boys have been Dj'ing together as a duo for nearly 13 years which has seen them travel the globe spinning their unique blend of House and Electro. In a recent Dj Magazine poll of the top 100 clubs in the world George & Steven had played in 8 of the Top 10! From Sydney to Las Vegas, Rome to San Francisco, Miami to Paris, Moscow to Tokyo, Budapest to Athens, Ibiza to Dublin & Vancouver to Istanbul, The Sharp Boys have played extensively on the international circuit and still do. Alongside international gigs the boys have graced many of the UK's top clubs and venues including; The Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, The End, Heaven, Fire, Area, The Fridge, The Cross, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Alexandra Palace, Koko, The Arches, and The Collosseum. Production Standards..... One genre of the industry that has seen major activity for the boys is the world of music production. They launched their label "Sharp Recordings" at the end of 1994 and within 4 months George and Steven decided to head into the studio together for the first time to produce an EP for release. After three days 3 tracks were finished which became "Sharp Tools - Volume One". The record was greatly received on both sides of the Atlantic with support from Danny Rampling and Judge Jules to Junior Vasquez to Erick Morillo and before long the phone was off the hook with offers of Remix work. In the following 14 years the boys have amassed a hectic Production and Remix CV for some of the biggest names in music. From pop princesses: Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Rachel Stevens and Christina Aguilera, Soul legends Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Luther Vandross & Mary J Blige to Icons George Michael, Diana Ross & Madonna; The Sharp Boys are never scared of crossing genres in the remix market. In 2004 they re-produced "I Just Wanna Dance" by the cast from Jerry Springer "The Opera" to critical acclaim and have so far in their career remixed 7 National UK No1 singles their name appears on over 35million sold tracks worldwide. Broadcasting on Air & Abroad..... For 5 years until 2004 the boys hosted and co produced "The Sharp Saturday Night Invasion" on London's top dance station "Kiss 100". With a mixture of up front House music, humour and international guests the show took Saturday night into Sunday morning with exclusive interviews from the worlds of Dance and Pop including: Boy George, Fatboy Slim, Erick Morillo, David Morales, Carl Cox, The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Dannii Minogue and Pet Shop Boys. The show was regularly broadcast from foreign shores including Las Vegas, Paris Tokyo, San Francisco, Miami, Ibiza and Dubai. Steven and George have also regularly contributed guest mixes for the UK's leading station Radio 1. On top of mixes and interviews for Danny Rampling, Fergie, The Dreem Team, Dave Pearce and Judge Jules, The Sharp Boys have twice recorded the coveted "Essential Selection" for Pete Tong.
